Meet Scamp! He is a Rat Terrier and is 6 yrs old (as of 8/14/09). He is very cute and has an adorable face and a stub tail. He was brought to us by his person who was moving to a place that does not allow dogs. His person indicated he was kept inside and is house trained. He has found the shelter to be a scarey place and was very shy and nervous when he fist came in. He has settled down now and is much better and his true personality is coming out. He is quite sweet and personable, but is a little shy at first. He will be happy to cuddle with you and give you his love. He doesn’t mind being picked up. He did fine with his temperament test and was tolerant. He has no issues with food with people or taking treats. He will be best in a quiet and calm home without young kids. Scamp has been in foster care and we have learned more about him. He is house trained and well mannered in the house. He loves to snuggle in the chair and sleep in the bed. He can be food aggressive wih other dogs. He probably will be happiest as an only dog as he doesn't interact with the other dogs in the foster home; although he can share a home with other dogs. Scamp hopes you will consider adopting him.
