Just wanted to drop a line and let you know how Justine (Luca) is doing. She is getting along great with Xyna, our 13 year old lab. They were always getting into everything together, good or bad! Xyna has gotten worse, health wise and this past May a black lab pup (about 7 months) was found and no one claimed him. So, we ended up adopting him too. Justine was so excited when a younger dog came home. The first night we had to put Justine in the create to get them to sleep. Chopper ( the lab) put his nose on the egde of the create and stayed there for the night. They've been best of friends since. They get the old lady going every now and then, but for the most part they respect her bounderies. Justine and Chopper go hiking with us about 2-3 times a week and loves to go for canoe rides any chance they get. Justine still gets a little skiddish with new people around, but comes out of it pretty quickly. I wouldn't want her any other way. We're so glad to have her with us! Thank you so much! ~April and Lane

Hello everyone! I adopted Kalli, originally Rena, at the summer dog fair this past June. Kalli came to live with me at Dimond Hill Farm, where she would share a yard with 3 other dogs that live on the farm. Kalli has just been trained to the Invisible Fence and LOVES to run back and forth between our house and the farm house. She loves meeting al the new people coming through, and she loves corn on the cob! She's even taking over the cat's job-she caught a mouse the other day! She is now about 35 pounds, and still only half way to her predicted full grown size! She has been a wonderful addition and makes me laugh every day.

Hello! We adopted Ranger (formerly Balto) on July 15, 2007. He is an absolute doll whose sole purpose is to get belly rubs! He and his four-year-old fur sister, Natasha are having a blast running around the backyard and taking hikes in the woods. Also, Ranger is absolutely fantastic with our 14-month-old daughter. We are so glad that Puppy Angels was able to find Ranger and connect him with us! Thank you!

We adopted Bashful (now Riley, cuz he's LIVING THE LIFE OF RILEY!!!) on July 28 at your open house. Riley was the runt of the puppies from Paris, KY (Border Collie/Mixed). He's just wonderful. After one day he knew his name, two days he was doing "sit" and "come", we're still working on "stay". He loves to snuggle and take yard walks on his new puppy leash. We had our puppy wellness exam with our VET and she said he's doing fine and should be a great addition to the family. I totally agree.
Thank you PUPPY ANGELS for all the good work you do linking puppies with people!!!

Hi!!! I wanted to update you on how Rusty is doing. We adopted him in December and he's been such a joy to have. When we first got him he was really shy but has totally broken out of that. To see what a great dog he really has become, we wouldn't give him up for anything. Thanks again for everything you do. Without your organization I don't know where Rusty and the other animals you help will be right now.

Thank you so much for our new best friend Bear (formerly one of Cane's Crew). We adopted him in April and he is now 6 1/2 months old. He is absolutely wonderful and is doing terrific with his training. He loves car rides, meeting all people and playing with other dogs. Everyone who meets him loves him and children can't keep from petting him as he lays down and rolls over so they can pat his tummy. Thanks!

Hello all you great people at PuppyAngels! We adopted our dog, Sassy (Papillon Mix) the day before Christmas, and she is doing AWESOME! We couldn't have asked for a better dog. She has filled out a little and her fur has grown in longer and thicker. Being from Kentucky, we were a little worried she wouldn't have sufficient fur for our NH weather. She now looks great, and is just the happiest little girl! Thank you PuppyAngels!

Dear Puppy Angels: We adopted Tilla (as in tortilla chip) formerly Annie, two years ago this month. She has been a wonderful addition to our family. She enjoys traveling, taking walks with a cousin dog, Ellie, playing with our cat Moose, playing catch me with my squeeky toy in the yard as she runs like a greyhound and sun bathing on the deck. She is very silly! She has the typical get the "squirrel" instinct and has issues with unknown female dogs. Otherwise, she does well in crowds and enjoys being at town events. Thank you so much for allowing us to bring home a beautiful Basenji/Terrier mixed girl! Couldn't have found a better fit to our family!!

HI! We adopted Priscilla (now Roxie) back in February, and we love her to death. Her big brown eyes melted our hearts since the day we took her in as our foster puppy. She has been to the vet, and is so healthy and happy. She hates baths, and loves to romp around with her pink teddy bear, and most of all she loves being outdoors. We can't thank you enough for all that you do, and for taking such great care of Roxie after she had her litter. We hope all of her puppies are doing well at their forever homes. Thank you again, and Roxie sends you all loving kisses.

Message From: Adopted Oh Reilly
March 26, 2007
Hi there at Puppy Angels:
We adopted a precious puppy angel from you on March 3rd -- you called him
Bernie. His new name, which he already knows, is Reilly, as in The O'Reilly
Factor. We didn't name him O'Reilly because:
1. When we call him, we say Oh, Reilly.
2. When he's been a very good boy, we say Oh, Reilly!
3. When he's had a mishap in the house (very seldom now) we say OOOOH, Reilly.
He has made himself right at home here. He loves our queen-sized bed and loves
his toys. He gathers them all in the bed from time to time and then amuses
himself.
We've attached a couple of pictures of him from the first week we had him home,
so you can imagine how much he's taken things over by now.

Hi everyone! We just wanted to update you on Badger. We adopted him in Jan.
He has changed so much in 10 weeks!
We took him to our vet his fist week home, they said he was beautiful( which we knew:) ) He had gained 10 lbs between his first initial visit and 10 days later when he went for a follow up.
Our vet could not believe all you had done for him and the great care he received from you! She was very impresssed.
He continues to grow everyday, we kept his name "Badger" as he recognizes it.
He is now fully trained to go to the bathroom outside, ( we crate trained him and found your video very useful on how to help your pup love his crate) He comes when he is called, He will sit and give you his paw and then his other paw when you ask him to. (and all without any classes! which he is scheduled to start in May) He loves riding and went to the beach for the first time last weekend.
Our older dog "Maggie" is now 7 and is like a pup all over again :) It was the best thing we ever did for her
(and him) They play together, eat together, go out together, they are pretty much inseparable.
We are attaching a picture so you can see how beautiful he is, we definitely found a diamond in the rough with this one.
We talk very highly about you and what you are doing to all our friends! Keep up the good work and Thank you very much for helping Badger find his way into our lives !!

It's day 3 with Maya (formerly Bobbie) and what a wonderful addition to our family! She definitely has herding instincts since she does her inventory of all of us to make sure she knows where we are. She has had her first bath, nail clipping, loves to take rides to drop the kids off and pick them up from practice and is super affectionate. We are working with her on clicker training and is doing awesome. We couldn't ask for a better dog and couldn't appreciate more the dedication and commitment that Puppy Angels shows to these wonderful animals.

We adopted Abbey in December (at that time known as Avengers). She had made herself right at home the minute she walked into the house. She is doing great and she just graduated obedience level 1 and began level 2. We made such a great decision adopting her from Puppy Angels. I check the site frequently - in hopes of finding the next member of our family!

We adopted Boo (a black terrier pup who was either Isabelle or Isabella... I forget) over a year ago and we love her so much. She was a skinny 11 pound puppy from Kentucky, now she's a robust young lady who loves to cuddle. I found her baby picture on your site last week and I can't believe how much she's grown. Thanks for rescuing these dogs, you guys are saints.

Delilah came home with us in January and was happy but cautious. She now knows her home and goes everywhere with us comfortably. She loves everyone and she loves car rides! She knows to sit before we go outside and when we come back inside so we can click or unclick her leash. She is doing well with walking beside me instead of pulling and knows that she should stay with me until I tell her to go. Then she knows she can run around. She loves her kitty brothers, Allman and Mr. Sniffles and she loves to cuddle! We couldn't be any luckier!

Hi! I adopted a "little rascal terrier female" in the beginning of December and just wanted to let you know that she is doing great! I've named her Daisy and she is the sweetest thing... loves people, dogs, even plays nicely with the cat! I was wondering if anyone else who adopted one of the litter had any ideas of what kind of terrier their puppy is? Maybe part Jack Russell, part Rat Terrier with something else? If any ideas would love to hear! Whatever she is... she is well loved!

What a wonderfull advocate for these special and needing animals.

confident and active and doing great in our house, with our adult dog,
and with friends' children & dogs. Her hair is growing in nicely over
the sparse spots in her coat. She got a thorough check-up at our vet
last week, who proclaimed her extremely healthy, and she has been
swimming several days in a row. She is very gentle and well-behaved
overall, and we are working on training her in the fine art of sitting
& staying & coming when her name is called. We feel extremely lucky to

He has a furry friend named Chloe (choc. lab.). Buddy was a little jealous of her at first and Chloe was really patient of him. Now their best friends. He is such a great addition to our family and so much fun to watch. His personality is wonderful. Loves everyone and everything. I keep an eye on your website to see if there may be another little friend that I may need to bring home. Buddy now lives in Saugus, MA with his new family. We have had Blackjack for a month now and he is a never-ending source of entertainment. He and his sister Sera (both Rotties) go for long hikes in huge hay fields every day with us. He runs like the wind -- why walk when one can soar??? He loves the water and runs up and down a little stream that crosses the fields. The other day he put his whole head underwater and then leaped out of the stream and put his forehead onto the grass, rolling over in a full somersault, then landed on his feet only to charge off again.
Regardless of what he has been through, he sees life as good and views the world as filled with wonderful things just waiting for him to experience. He loves everyone and believes that everyone loves him. The first time he met my frail, elderly (87) mother, he jumped up onto her lap and sat down. We were all laughing so hard that it took us a few moments to get him off her.
He has an incredible personality and such expressive eyes that it is impossible for us to ignore him when he wants something -- not that we could, as this spunky guy is determined that we respond to him. He and Sera are inseparable and they are great companions. We could not love them more.

Hi there! We got Koda on March 24 (he didn't have a name then). He is such a wonderful little boy. My golden retreiver Sammie is starting to play with him...Koda isn't giving him much of a choice! Anyhow, I wanted to say thank you so much for what you do! Koda has brought a lot of happiness back into the house after the loss of our Greyhound, Bootlegger.
One funny thing Koda does is he has to keep some of the leash in his mouth when we are walking. He's such a goofy little boy...and growing bigger everyday! Our vet says she thinks he's part Bernese mountain dog w/ collie mix.
Thanks again for the wonderful thing you do and for giving us such a wonderful pup as Koda!
